In addition to scaling and advanced treatments we can use a number of types of antibiotics to help clear up the problem areas.
If the problem is localised to one or two areas we can place a dissolvable chip ( periochip) in the area which will get rid of all the bacteria in that area allowing you to clean it and resolve the problem.
If the problem areas are numerous, in addition to scaling and advanced treatment we can use antibiotic gels in the gum pockets to move treatments along even quicker.
